05/15/2019 A family room makeover! We took an empty underutilized back room and gave it the makeover it needed to reach its full potential. Cozy and ready for watching your favorite flick or unwinding after work this space packs the punch.
Cool, cozy and creative! This space was a challenge because it was quite small. The family wanted to incorporate a sectional but not overwhelm the room. It was important the space felt open but still met the needs of hanging out, watching television and lounging comfortably.
We anchored the room with a cool blue sectional complete with a chaise for lounging. Pulled in a jazzy monochromatic area rug to complete with shades of blue. A brass coffee table with a textured top for a needed centerpiece and cozy patterned pillows for color and a needed pop. Add a media unit with open shelving to keep this small space uncluttered and open and complete the room with bold drapes that really help to tie everything together with a much needed wow factor.
Perfect Netflix and chill room, don't mind if we do!
